The 2023 Tres Coyotes is a unique blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and the rare Cabernet Pfeffer—a grape with fewer than 20 acres worldwide and about half an acre on our estate. This wine offers rich flavors of fig jam, boysenberry, and dark stone fruits, balanced with subtle notes of pink and black peppercorn. The combination creates a distinctive, flavorful wine that highlights the rare Cabernet Pfeffer alongside classic Cab varietals.
Winemaking: All estate fruit. Destemmed & fermented on skins for 2 weeks. Pressed when dry & aged in 20% new French oak for 18 months.
Pairs well with grilled steak, sautéed mushrooms, roasted beets, dark chocolate.
