Let's Talk Story

High Camp sits atop the rolling hills of San Miguel, California, right in the heart of the Paso Robles AVA. Once home to grazing sheep and cattle, this gorgeous property now features 75 acres of premium wine grapes. With deep, sandy loam and clay soils formed by ancient riverbeds and varied sun exposure across the land, it’s the perfect spot for growing ten different varietals of world-class wine.

High Camp wines are approachable for casual wine drinkers to seasoned connoisseurs. Every glass reflects the unique terroir of San Miguel, an area with winemaking roots that go back to Franciscan missionaries in the early 1800s. Whether it’s the stunning views, handcrafted artisan wines, rich history, or the friendly atmosphere, High Camp is a must-visit for wine lovers exploring California’s Central Coast.

The family that purchased the property in September of 2020 comes from six generations of farming and ranching in California, and has made it their dream to put their rustic hilltop sanctuary, and its new wines, on the map alongside other artisan wineries in the area.

Youngest sister Megan and her husband Spencer run the property today, bringing their modern style and artistic energy to everything they do. They take in creating a special gathering place for family and friends to celebrate life. With creative backgrounds and deep farming roots (Megan grew up in a multigenerational farming family, and Spencer was raised on a farm too), they’ve poured their hearts into revitalizing High Camp and its brand. Their love for nature, style, and hard work shines through in every detail. They’re fully embracing the challenges and joys of winemaking and are so excited to share their wines with their amazing wine club members and adventurous wine lovers ready to discover their next favorite bottle.
