Our Year in Review

Our Year in Review

Hey there, wine enthusiasts! What a year it's been for us at High Camp Wines!

Let's dive into what made 2023 such a standout year for us. First off, our vineyards yielded us with exceptional grapes. Although it did snow in February, Mother Nature was on our side. We've been upping our winemaking game too! We made some tech upgrades, like our glycol cooling system which helps us cold ferment our wines, ensuring they retain those flavors you love so much. Plus, we've been experimenting with whole cluster & carbonic fermentation techniques—let's just say it's bringing out some promising flavors in our grapes.

And boy, did our wines shine! The stars of our collection this year were the 2021 Petit Et Grand, 2021 Pinot Noir, 2021 Estate Grenache Rosé, and 2021 Estate Reserve. These wines became instant favorites, winning customers with their unique flavors and quality. And critics loved them too! Our 2021 Petit Et Grand earned 93 points from the Sunset International Wine Competition and 91 points from James Suckling!

But it wasn't just about the wines; it was about coming together as a community. We hosted some fantastic events that brought everyone closer. From our High Camp Hoedown showcasing our second 2021 vintage to our unforgettable Dinner in the Vines—it's safe to say we had a blast sharing our passion for winemaking with all of you. This past year, we were also featured in Sampl, a unique tasting experience that features smaller wineries.

Looking back, we can't help but feel grateful for the incredible support we've received. It's your enthusiasm and love for great wine that keeps us going. And as we look ahead, we're filled with excitement for what's to come. Cheers to a remarkable year and more to come!
